Initial Text2notes

I feel like the following is just the beginning, but I have spent a little time tonight making a text2notes patch that allows typers to create notes based on midi names, velocity and length of the note. I wish I had the touch typing skills of my wife! Anyway I will properly share the patch when I have done some more work on it, but you can gleam all you need from it in the video and the screen grab below. The trick was to do the trigger with clear and the select message to reselect the textedit object after I have hit enter. Enter also sends the notes, as I thought that was a little more intuitive than tab. The routing was also a bit tricky! so far length and velocity are separated messages to the notes. I’d eventually like to have a single string out to get the notes and all values out. In the next iteration! Maybe I could even add in other things like percussion (maybe starting and stopping samples, rather than setting?). Anyway, until next time. Keep coding.
