Character Archetype Sets

I have been writing an optional rule for my game Rift Walker. This involves simple kits or sets of items for character backgrounds. In the game, typically selection of Gear, Resources, Skills and Contacts are a point of creativity and pure flavour to allow a player to make a totally unique character. For some players though, this might seem overwhelming and having some pre-made selections for typical archetypes in set genres, would be of great help. Below I go through the rule and the preset selections.

Character Building Sets

While Rift Walker encourages players bringing their own flavour to any character, this optional rule provides Kits to quickly assign Skills, Contacts, Gear and Resources for predefined backgrounds.
